With a lineup that also boasts Guided By Voices, Flag, Wale, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Boys Noize, A-Trak, Fidlar, The Dead Milkmen, Youth Of Today, Strfkr, Jagwar Ma, Carcass, Thee Oh Sees, Wild Nothing, Aesop Rock, Cursive, Bob Mould and many others, Sound On Sound is promising a “unique festival experience.” The location is a 23-acre permanent renaissance village that includes more than 100 permanent buildings ranging from shops to restaurants and pubs.
But music is only part of the Sound On Sound equation. The festival will also host stand-up comedians, panel sessions and other activities.
Three-day general admission tickets are on sale now for $169 plus tax and shipping. Three-day VIP passes, christened “Treat Thy Self” are available for $445 plus tax and shipping. Treat Thy Self perks include preferred viewing areas, exclusive food and drink offerings, happy hours, dedicated lounges and restrooms, expedited entry and more.
