With new headline dates on the horizon, Phantogram says “it’s about to be the best summer ever!” The duo’s North American routing now includes co-headline gigs with Tycho.
The co-headline outing kicks off July 18 in Saint Petersburg, Fla., followed by gigs in Orlando; Asheville, N.C.; and Charlotte, N.C. The last co-bill gig is booked July 27 in Schaghticoke, N.Y.
Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel take the stage next at “Project Pabst” in Denver May 20. Additional festival appearances include Sasquatch, Governors Ball and Firefly.
The duo has two previously announced shows with Miike Snow – June 30 in Reno, Nev., and July 1 in Berkeley, Calif.
Tickets for the new dates go on sale May 19 at 10 a.m. local time. VIP packages are available.
For every headline and co-headline show starting July 14, Phantogram is donating a dollar from every ticket sold to The American Foundation For Suicide Prevention (AFSP). The contribution continues the group’s commitment to raising awareness for mental health issues.
Phantogram – which describes its music as dream pop, electronica and trip hop – is continuing to support its third studio album, Three, which was released in October.
