The folks at Crash Line Productions didn’t waste any time putting out the word about the fall extravaganza. Boston Calling’s spring gathering at Beantown’s City Hall Plaza took place May 22-24 and featured performances by My Morning Jacket, Pixies, Jason Isbell, Marina And The Diamonds, St. Vincent and many others.
Promising no overlapping sets, the Sept. 25-27 Boston Calling will also host Walk The Moon, Nate Ruess, Father John Misty, Sturgill Simpson, Misterwives, Daughter, Twin Shadow, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, Doomtree, Fidlar, The Staves, Grizfolk, Bully, Dirty Bangs, and Grey Season. As always, the Boston Calling lineup is co-curated by The National’s Aaron Dessner.
Although it might be a tad early to release the daily lineups, Boston Calling did release a video trumpeting the September lineup.
