Days removed from announcing the lineup in Bakersfield, independent live entertainment company Activated Events announced Boots in the Park is returning to Albuquerque, New Mexico, for a second year and will feature country superstars Luke Combs and Cody Johnson.

The music festival was expanded to two days and takes place May 17 and 18 next year at Balloon Fiesta Park. Also on the bill for the event are Jon Pardi, Parker McCollum, Scotty McCreery, Ian Munsick, Jackson Dean, Corey Kent, Alana Springsteen, Jade Eagleson, Bryce Leatherwood, Joe Peters and DJ Luwiss Lux.

“We are thrilled to return to New Mexico for year two of Boots In The Park and expand to a two-day festival in 2025,” Steve Thacher, CEO of Activated Events, said in a statement. “With headliners like Luke Combs and Cody Johnson, along with an incredible supporting lineup, Balloon Fiesta Park will come alive for an unforgettable weekend.”

Tickets for Boots in the Park, which also features line dancing, craft food from local vendors, art installations and a diverse selection of beverages, go on sale to the general public Friday, Dec. 6. Combs, who is repped by WME’s Aaron Tannenbaum and managed by Make Wake Artists, is one of the top-grossing singers in the world. He recently went on a stadium run across North America and has grossed more than $165 million, according to 25 headline reports submitted to Pollstar Boxoffice.

Johnson is repped by Chad Kudelka of CAA and managed by Durango Artist Management. He recently won a CMA award for Album of the Year and his “Leather Tour” was a hit this year. He performed his first headline stadium concert at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Nov. 9 and grossed $3,595,000 off 39,539 tickets, according to Pollstar Boxoffice.

Presented by Activated Events, Boots In The Park is unique among country fests by tapping underserved markets and venues and bringing top-shelf talent and the full festival experience to outdoor stages. This year’s festivals include stops in four California cities: San Diego, Norco, Bakersfield and Fresno, kicking off with Bakersfield’s March 7 show with headliners Brooks & Dunn, plus Jackson Dean, Owen Riegling, Joe Peters, and Luwiss Lux in support at Bakersfield Sports Village.
