Live at the BRIT Awards 2019
The international winners, none of whom were present to pick up their trophy, include
Ariana Grande (International Female Solo Artist),
Drake won his second BRIT Award in the International Male Solo Artist category, following his first win in 2017.
The Carters were crowned International Group.
One guest from overseas did show up, though:
Hugh Jackman, who opened the award ceremony with a “Greatest Showman” performance. The night was hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall.
Harris was also one of the live acts of the evening, performing three of his recent collaborations with
Rag N Bone Man (“Giant”), Sam Smith (“Promises”) and Dua Lipa, respectively, back to back.

The 1975 live on stage
The BRIT Awards 2019 also hosted performances from George Ezra, Jorja Smith,
Jess Glynne with
H.E.R.,
Little Mix, the winners of the British Artist Video Award, with
Ms Banks and The 1975.
Pink closed the show with a four song medley following the presentation of her Outstanding Contribution to Music award.
Unsurprisingly,
Ed Sheeran won the BRITs Global Success Award for a
second year in a row. Since he was currently on tour in South America, he couldn’t pick up the award in person.
