Jesse McCartney has some extensive roadwork planned for the summer. The singer/songwriter upcoming tour kicks off June 15 at Atlanta’s Buckhead Theatre and includes stops in New Orleans, New York, St. Louis and San Francisco before rolling into Los Angeles and the outing’s final gig July 25.
McCartney’s new song – “Better With You” – is his first bit of new music since his 2014 album, In Technicolor, landed in stores. The track was co-written with Brandyn Burnette, Molly Moore and producer Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna). McCartney plans on releasing new music throughout the year.
The upcoming dates include Scottish singer/songwriter Nina Nesbitt supporting through July 2 and McCartney’s gig at Paradise Rock Club in Boston.
A dive into Pollstar’s wondrous boxoffice database shows McCartney selling all 800 tickets for his Jan. 27, 2017 show at The Laird Room in Stevens Point, Wis., and grossing $27,469. McCartney played The District in Sioux Falls, S.D., a few months later and sold 1,357 out of 1,500 tickets and grossed $47,030.
