Bon Jovi, one of the newly announced Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame 2018 inductees, is getting ready to rock arenas across North America for its “This House Is Not For Sale” spring tour. The dates kick-off March 14 at the Pepsi Center in Denver and will make stops in Las Vegas, New Orleans, Boston, Atlanta, Chicago and New York before wrapping up at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. May 14.
In conjunction with this tour, the band’s This House Is Not For Sale, which originally dropped in November 2016 on Island Records, is being re-released with two new songs, “When We Were Us” and “Walls.” The new version is out Feb. 23.
Significantly, the tour kicks-off in Denver because the band’s schedule previous show in April 2017 was canceled due to illness and routing challenges. At the time, Jon Bon Jovi personally vowed to return at the first possible opportunity.
Beginning Jan. 12, ticketholders to Bon Jovi’s canceled spring 2017 Denver show, will receive access to an exclusive “Previous Purchasers” presale to buy tickets for the March 14 concert for 50 percent off.
Bon Jovi, a touring power house, has frequently topped Pollstar charts, and in 2013 had the top tour of the year based on ticket sales with more than 2.6 million sold worldwide. That year, Bon Jovi averaged 27,397 tickets per show, with an average gross of more than $2.6 million.
The Jersey rockers played several North American arenas last spring, including two shows at Madison Square Garden Arena April 13, which sold 33,773 and grossed $2.07 million. The band placed at No. 30 on Pollstar‘s 2017 Year End Top 200 North American Tours Chart.
