The youngest son of music icon Bob Marley, Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, announces North American fall tour in support of his forthcoming album Stony Hill.
Damian earned his own place in music history as the first ever Reggae artist to win a GRAMMY outside of the genres category, taking home best urban/alternative performance. Marley has been hitting stages all over the world for the past few years and collaborating with artist like Nas and Skrillex to create groundbreaking tracks. The self-proclaimed “Spiritual Revolutionary” has been working tirelessly to add to the Marley legacy and create his own niche in music history.
His latest music video for R.O.A.R., paying tribute to his home country of Jamaica, was released on TIDAL on June 16. The video takes viewers on a tour of the song’s hypnotizing lyrics about life on the island.
The tour kicks off on September 1st in Minneapolis, at Minneapolis Music Hall and continues to Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, with many stops along the way through mid-October.
The album Stony Hill is available for pre-order and tickets for the tour are on sale now. Visit Pollstar’s Damian Marley page for more information and tour dates.
