The band has been broken up since 2006, though it celebrated the 10-year anniversary of its breakthrough album Emotion Is Dead with a reunion tour in 2010. Fans can expect to hear tunes from that project, as well as its first release, 1999’s Understand This Is A Dream, and 2002’s Love in this celebratory tour for the band’s 20-year anniversary. Perhaps the band will also play songs from 2005’s Deadbeat Sweetheartbeat.
“The more time that passes the more I realize that I cherish certain memories and eras from my past and that I’m very lucky to have any opportunity to share the stage with dear friends that I grew up with – playing songs that make a group of people happy,” frontman Brett Detar said. “A lot of those songs and memories are almost like little time capsules, and being able to revisit those from time to time is something that I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to do.”
The final lineup for the band was Detar, Chad Alan on bass, Joshua Fiedler and Joshua Kosker on guitars, and Josh Walters on drums. Original guitarist Jeremiah Momper and drummer Neil Hebrank departed from the band before the breakup and the band’s
Facebook page lists them only as former members, so fans can probably expect the 2010 lineup.
