‘Freakin’ Tour

Upstart rappers Kap G and J.R. Donato are plotting a co-headlining tour in the regional Northeast and Midwest.

The young guns open their run at Boston’s Middle East Nightclub Feb. 23 and continue until March 5 in Urbana, Ill.’s Canopy Club. The schedule is mostly clubs and music halls, and along the way they are playing destination venues like Webster Hall in New York City.

Kap G is a Mexican-American rapper from College Park, Ga., a suburb of Atlanta. He has already collaborated with the likes of Young Thug and Ty Dolla $ign.

J.R. Donato is signed to Wiz Khalifa’s label, Taylor Gang. He is from Waukegan, Ill., just outside of Chicago, and came up under the tutelage of Webster Hall.
