Longtime Garth fans remember that it was the morning after his summer 1992 gig at Fresno’s Selland Arena that the artist found himself sitting on a hotel lawn after his tour bus left without him. It wasn’t until someone on the vehicle noticed they were short one superstar that the bus turned around and picked up the Very Important Person.

Brooks’ Sept. 24 show at the Save Mart Center will be his first concert in Fresno since 1997.  The show is part of the Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood World Tour.
