Columbus, Ohio is the first city on the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, with 25 locations on the full routing. The dates run from Aug. 25 to Oct. 8, concluding with a show in Oakland, Calif., once home to Bad Boy’s late rival Tupac Shakur.
The Bad Boy record label w in Brooklyn, which was originally billed as a one night only show. Those tickets reportedly sold out in seven minutes and shut down ticket-vending sites, some of which might have been due to New York’s recent problems with third-party ticket resellers.
“This isn’t just a concert – this is a moment in hip hop and R&B history,” Puff Daddy said about the concert. “The family and I are so excited to welcome fans into this once in a lifetime experience.”
Anyone who was alive and listening to radio during the label’s heyday would recognize many of the iconic tunes on the setlist, such as “All About The Benjamins,” “Mo Money Mo Problems,” “Peaches and Cream” and “I’ll Be Missing You,” a tribute to the company’s most prominent artist, the late Notorious B.I.G.
