The Kills July Through September

Fans of The Kills can have it both ways this summer by seeing the band at festivals such as Montreal’s and British Columbia’s or catching one of the band’s shows in intimate venues.

Along with spending the past year doing festival gigs and playing dates with Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, The Black Keys and Alison Mosshart’s Dead Weather comrade Jack White, members of The Kills have been exploring individual artistic visions.  Mosshart’s original paintings on paper, canvas and fabric art were part of the Push It show dedicated to female artists at ARtNowNY In April.  Some of her paintings were featured in the New York Times T Magazine and her work was displayed at Miami’s Art Basel in December.

Jamie Hince has been busy as well.  He launched “Echo Home,” an exhibit of his photographic work, at the Morrison Hotel Gallery in New York.
