Lady Gaga will take over the Doritos #BoldStage on the Born This Way Foundation Night March 13.
Last week the news came out that city officials had denied a permit request for Gaga to play Doritos’ vending machine stage in the parking lot of Carmelo’s Italian Restaurant because of concerns over crowd capacity, according to Austin360.com.
To get into Gaga’s show at Stubb’s fans will have to complete a bold challenge.
“I believe being an individual and speaking your mind is one of the boldest things you can do. … This is a very special show – only people who prove their boldness are able to get in,” Gaga said in the video announcement above.
“I’m excited to announce the very first challenge – we’re calling it Bold Bravery. I want you to share a picture or a video that expresses your individuality through a bold action. What bold thing have you done that makes you stand out?”
SXSW notes that the opportunity is open to SXSW Platinum and Music registrants and fans with Music Festival or Artist Wristbands. Gaga is picking one lucky winner to be a VIP at the show.
For more information about the challenges visit SXSW.com and Doritos.com/BoldBravery. Oh, and as for Gaga’s bold act, she says you’ll have to wait for the show.

They did everything in their power to disrupt a yearly tradition that has become a pilgrimage for thousands of people all over the world. But they FAILED! Because we NOW HAVE A NEW LOCATION 100% LOCKED IN,” says a post on ICP’s Psychopathic Records website.
Along with Twiztid and Blaze, the lineup includes the complete Psychopathic roster: Insane Clown Posse, ABK, Boondox, Big Hoodoo, Dark Lotus,
