The Glitch Mob Reveals March Shows

With February marking the release of The Glitch Mob’s second album, the trio of instrumentalists/producers hits the North American touring circuit one month later for a brief journey beginning in Maine and wrapping in the Lone Star State.

But don’t expect a track list of only instrumentals on Love Death Immortality which drops Feb. 11 on The Glitch Mob’s Glass Air Records label. Ooah (Joshua Mayer), edIT (Ed Ma) and Boreta (Joshua Boreta) worked with several female vocalists to breathe life into their music, including the San Francisco Bay Area’s Metal Mother and Nico Vega’s Aja Volkman.

Of course, we’d only be teasing you if we talked up the album without a sample to go with it. The first single from Love Death Immortality is “Can’t Kill Us.”

Promising their biggest tour yet, The Glitch Mob is working with Martin Phillips of Bionic League to give fans a spectacular production. Phillips has provided concert visuals for several acts, including Kanye West, Daft Punk and Deadmau5.

“We’re taking a more hands-on approach to the live show this time around,” edIT said. “The whole experience is going to be personally curated by us. We’re designing really cool video-interaction apps to integrate the experience, really letting the audience in on what we’re doing onstage.”
