Phoenix Rising In The Fall

The French rock band extends its U.S. touring plans as it slots shows in September and October.  New to the Phoenix calendar are concerts in Chicago, Boston, Brooklyn, Los Angeles and San Diego with The Vaccines supporting most dates.

That’s right, a headlining date in Chicago will mark the Phoenix’s second appearance in the Windy City in less than two months.  Touring in support of Bankrupt! and already scheduled to play Chicago’s Lollapalooza Aug. 4, the band will rock the UIC Pavilion Sept. 28.

Playing European festivals through the summer, Phoenix arrives on this side of the ocean in early August playing “The Grove Music Festival” in Toronto Aug. 3, Lollapaloza Aug. 4, Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver Aug. 7, and a date to be announced at San Francisco’s Outside Lands music and food fest running Aug. 9-11.
