The first leg of the tour earned the band tons of glowing reviews from the East Coast to the West.
The New York Times called Tyler “an unstoppable vocalist who was belting, howling, letting loose falsetto whoops or barking rhymes at proto-hip-hop speed” and the Boston Herald noted that Joe Perry “remains one of rock’s great guitarists.”
Over at the Orange County Register in California, the paper wrote, “They haven’t sounded so fierce in years.”
Two days before the second leg begins Aerosmith will put out its new album, Music From Another Dimension, on Columbia Records. During the tour fans can expect to hear “blazing songs” from the Nov. 6 release as well as career-defining hits.
