In December Afghan Whigs announced that the Cincinnati-based rock band was reuniting and taking Guided By Voices’ spot at the London event in addition to playing New Jersey’s festival.
The Garden State’s version of I’ll Be Your Mirror takes place at various venues in Asbury Park. The main shows are held at the Convention Hall and Paramount Theatre and other events take place at the Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel.
Afghan Whigs frontman Greg Dulli is curating Saturday’s lineup. In addition to a headline performance from the Afghan Whigs and sets from Louis C.K. and The Roots, the Sept. 22 roster features Jose Gonzalez, Mark Lanegan Band, Dirty Three, The Antlers, The Dirtbombs (performing its 2001 album Ultraglide In Black), Scrawl, Sharon Van Etten, Emeralds, Vetiver, Quintron & Miss Pussycat, Charles Bradley and the Extraordinaires, DJ ?uestlove and Reigning Sound.
Chosen by All Tomorrow’s Parties, Sunday’s lineup features The Make-Up along with Hot Snakes, The Magic Band, Auolux, Thee Oh Sees, Factory Floor, Death Grips, and I Break Horses.
Friday’s lineup, which includes a comedy stage, will be announced in the near future. All three days feature DJs and other activities.
Tickets go on sale Monday, Feb. 27 at 10 a.m. EST. Three-day passes are priced at $199. After March 26 the remaining tickets will be priced at $249. A limited number of single-day tickets will be available for $75.
