Produced by Goldenvoice and The Messina Group, Stagecoach 2012 will take place April 27-29 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
In addition to the Mavericks, the festival has booked an almost endless list of performers including Alabama, Martina McBride, Kenny Rogers, Luke Bryan, Sara Evans, Chris Isaak, The Band Perry, Justin Moore, The Jayhawks and the Eli Young Band.
But that’s just brushing the surface. Other notables on the lineup include Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers, The JaneDear girls, Del McCoury Band, Aaron Lewis and Ralph Stanley & The Clinch Mountain Boys.
Talking about The Mavericks reunion, bassist Reynolds said he missed playing with his old bandmates.
“Time away has really allowed me to miss the guys and the music we made together,” Reynolds said in a statement. “We owe it to the fans as a thank you. The thing that saddened me was trying to imagine never playing those songs with my fellow Mavs and for the fans that showed us such love. It’s time to correct that. Here we come again.”
Although daily lineups have not been announced, tickets go up Oct. 28 at 10 a.m. Pacific time with three-day passes starting at $149 for a limited time. Layaway options are available.
