Yes, it’s more tour dates for Bareilles, who already has a pretty full schedule appearing with Maroon 5 in the U.K. and Europe Feb. 16-March 16. Beginning only two weeks after the Euro run, Bareilles launches her U.S. tour in Portland, Maine, at the State Theatre April 1. Other stops include Providence, R.I., at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel April 2; Baltimore at Ram’s Head Live April 3; Interlochen, Mich., at the Corson Auditorium April 6 and Duluth, Minn., at College Of St. Scholastica April 9.

Bareilles will also play Winston-Salem, N.C. (April 12), Columbus, Ohio (April 13), Buffalo, N.Y. (April 17) and Memphis (April 22).

She rejoins Maroon 5 during the first week of May for a tour of Australia. There are also some August and October dates on the books with Sugarland. In other words, 2011 is looking mighty busy for Ms. Bareilles.

But there’s nothing like loving your job. That is, if a remark Bareilles posted about her April tour on her website is any indication.

“We missed some spots on our last headlining tour and I just can’t stand that, so here we go with round 2! Come see me work on my flame throwing on stage and see us launch the boys out of cannons. (none of that will happen, but we WILL play music, so that’s hopefully worth it.)”

Yep. Sounds like she’s living the dream. And lovin’ it.
