Okay, before we go any further, I know a lot of you are thinking, “What’s the deal with all the QVC stories lately?” Well as it happens, the channel better known for Joan Rivers jewelry and Marie Osmond dolls has become the most dependable place for any act that’s still interested in moving CDs.
While QVC is understandably reluctant to release any exact figures, the roster of artists signing up to appear – Melissa Etheridge, Justin Bieber, Barbra Streisand – and promote a new album paints a pretty clear picture of what’s happening.
Before Charice makes her QVC debut, she’ll drop in on Oprah to chat and perform (for the fourth time!).
Joining the singer later that evening at 8 p.m. EST to perform her hit single, “Pyramid,” and other tracks from her self-titled debut on “QVC Presents QSessions Live” is none other than composer and music impresario David Foster.
