“Spectacle: Elvis Costello with…” will provide an hour-long weekly forum for the singer to conduct in-depth discussions about music and influences with guest artists and celebrities.

Over the past few years, Costello has earned a reputation as a musicologist of formidable knowledge as a contributor to Vanity Fair and guest host on “The Late Show with David Letterman.”

“Discovered,” a short form series spotlighting up-and-coming indie acts, will also air as in-break vignettes during the show’s 13-week run.

Artists profiled on “Discovered” will include Charlotte Sometimes, Department of Eagles, Forro in the Dark, Richard Julian, K’naan, Solange Knowles, Erin McCarley, Colin Munroe, Salt And Samovar, Thao Nguyen, PT Walkley, Matt White and The Virgins.
