We just added about five pounds of primo David Byrne dates for both sides of the Atlantic. New U.S. listings include Knoxville on December 7 at Tennessee Theatre, Raleigh on December 8 at Meymandi Concert Hall, Tampa on December 12 at Tampa Theatre and Miami Beach on December 13 at Fillmore Miami Beach At Jackie Gleason Theater. New Europe and U.K. dates include Dusseldorf on March 9 at Tonhalle, Copenhagen on March 16 at Falkoner Theatre, Oslo on March 19 at Sentrum Scene, Paris on March 25 at Olympia, Glasgow on March 31 at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall and London on April 12 & 13 at Royal Festival Hall.
North Mississippi Allstars will be busy the last week of December. New additions show the band playing Hal & Mal’s in Jackson, Mississippi, on the 26th, Variety Playhouse in Atlanta, Georgia, on the 27th, The Pour House in Charleston, South Carolina, on the 28th and Visulite Theatre in Charlotte, North Carolina, on the 29th.
And country / blues dude Charlie Parr makes the final update with a couple of dates in his native Minnesota as well as a new listing for Massachusetts. First the new Minnesota gigs: November 21 in Minneapolis at First Avenue and January 23 in Lutsen at Papa Charlie’s. The other new date is for January 12 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and the venue is The Cantab Lounge.
