The two-week club and theatre run launches February 19 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles and wraps March 8 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., with stops including the Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver (February 22), the Ogden Theatre in Denver (February 26), the Riviera Theater in Chicago (February 29), Kool Haus in Toronto (March 3) and Terminal 5 in New York City (March 7).

California’s The Donnas will join The Hives for their Denver appearance.

The Hives are inviting submissions for the sleeve artwork of their upcoming single “We Rule The World (T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S).”

The single will be available as a limited 10″ vinyl backed with remixes from Matt Helders (The Arctic Monkeys) and Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), so the band decided they wanted fans to “remix their cover art.”

Submissions should incorporate cutting edge graphics with a contemporary feel. There is only one brief specification: designs must be predominantly black and white.

All entries should work for a square format and be delivered at 300dpi by Jan 21 to [email protected].
