Under the 4 Absent Friends heading, Opeth and Paradise Lost will invade North American venues from January 17 through February 3. A couple of Californian venues have yet to be confirmed, but the tour looks to hit the major markets from coast to coast.
Both bands are sporting new material. Opeth have been touring behind Deliverance, the band’s first charting release. The album is currently floating around various charts, including CMJ’s Loud Rock where it’s seen No. 1.
Paradise Lost are supporting their Symbol Of Life disc. This tour marks their first U.S. outing since 1993 when they played with Morbid Angel and Kreator. Following the 4 Absent Friends tour, Paradise Lost will head back across the pond for a two-month European jaunt.
